What we are building
A modern Village - made real, one connection at a time.
Villagey is reimagining how parents get support - not from strangers or expensive services, but from the people already around them.
We’re building a platform that makes every day connections more accessible, makes support easier to give, and makes it less invisible.
While we work on our app in the background, we’ll be running messy, social, playgroups in the picturesque town of Kongwak (South Gippsland, Victoria)- because connection and good vibes are the foundation.
Next comes the big stuff, the stuff that should exist on everyones phone and in everyones community, but doesn’t.
But at its core, Villagey is about one thing:
Making real-life support simple, visible, and shared.
Lets be honest…
Let’s be honest — parenting can be busy, isolating, and at times, a little bit boring.
Between work, school runs, snack requests, and endless to-do lists, most of what’s out there for parents feels like just another chore or layer of admin.
Villagey is different.
We’re currently working to create an app to connect you with other parents and children in your community, in a way that is actually supportive, not a one way facebook page or WhatsApp group pinging with random comments.
Villagey is run by a growing crew of parents who are building the kind of community we’ve all been craving, inclusive, intentional, and actually enjoyable.
With this in mind, we’re also setting up a feel-good playgroup, that works for both parents and children, that feels like something you actually want to show up to.
We’re not experts, and we’re not perfect, we’re just people who believe that parenting should be more enjoyable and more connected.
Like if a dinner party and a playgroup had a cool baby.
